Blake Shelton, The Sexiest Man Alive

There has been extreme controversy on People Magazine’s  Sexiest Man Alive 2017, Blake Shelton. This choice is dividing friends and family everywhere, and is little by little tearing apart our nation.

     Avalon Millbrook, head of the anti-Shelton movement, is using her Facebook group to petition to get Congress involved.

“This whole situation is an outrage,” Millbrook said. “Blake Shelton isn’t even the sexiest man at my local Waffle House.”

Her facebook posts have garnered  great publicity, causing  many  to join her movement.

 Mona Pippender, a new member of Anti-Shelton, is completely baffled with People’s choice.

“I was in the line for checkout at Ralphs when I first saw the magazine and I just had to join after that,” Pippender said. “He literally looks like every middle aged white guy I’ve ever met. If that’s sexy, then my dad’s a supermodel.”  

  Several Shelton supporters are in disbelief with the amount of backlash he has received, including Bertha Brown, a ten-year Shelton supporter.

 our Blake sexy,” Brown said. “I wasn’t surprised when I saw the magazines. Quite frankly, the only thing that surprised me was how long it took for the rest of the country to open their eyes. Why a Southern man in cowboy boots is receiving so much hate? I have no idea.”

Georgia Thompson, age 40, housewife and Blake Shelton groupie, is ecstatic about People’s choice.

 “I’ve been waiting for this day for 16 years now,” Thompson said. “Whoever picks these things has a taste for real men.”

Out of all that is happening in the world, this is definitely the most devastating and controversial. Is Blake sexy? Is he not?  Which side are you on?
