That 90’s Show, a spin-off of the popular That 70’s Show has taken the internet by storm. The new show includes cast members of the original series along with a new generation of characters.
The series follows Leia Forman, daughter of main characters Eric Forman and Donna Pinciotti. It takes place back in Eric’s childhood home.
Other members of the previous cast – such as Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, Wilmer Valderamma, Kurtwood Smith, and Debra Jo Rupp – are featured in the reboot as well.
The show begins with the Forman’s paying a visit to Leia’s grandparents. There , she meets Gwen who brings her out of her comfort zone. She soon decides to stay in Point Place, Wisconsin for the summer, where she spends an eventful vacation exploring the memories of the generation before her.
Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher’s characters dated through most of That 70’s Show. As the actors grew up, they began dating in real life and are now married. In the reboot, the characters are married and have a child who is a part of the show’s new generation. Many fans of That 70’s Show were shocked that Jackie Burkhart, Mila Kunis’s character, ended the show with her love interest being Fez, Wilmer Valderamma’s character.
News of the reboot was announced in October 2021, and ten episodes have now been released on Netflix.
Although this reunion was long-awaited, one cast member of the original series was not a part of That 90’s Show. Danny Materson, the actor who played Steven Hyde, was charged with three counts of rape in 2020 from the early 2000s. He now prepares to go on trial.
This news has yet to ravage the reunion, however. Old cast members are thrilled to reunite and relive the show. Although there is controversy over the reboot, many fans are excited to relive their childhood with this heartwarming reboot.
