Unknown vandals trample over Bronco’s campus

Rancho Bernardo High School fell victim to tagging last week, with swastikas, male genitalia, and assorted racist slurs crudely and hastily rendered in spray paint. The graffiti was described as extensive; littering the campus as well as the athletic fields.

Del Norte has been unofficially blamed by many students for the graffiti, due to the “go nighthawks” and other comments endorsing the school left on the campus.

The vandalizing may have been prompted by the Rancho Bernardo versus Del Norte homecoming game on Friday night, leading to even more suspicion towards Del Norte.

Custodial staff was able to paint over or clean off the graffiti on Friday in time for the homecoming game, but graffiti can still be seen on the football field.

Rancho Bernardo is offering a reward of 500 dollars for any information pertaining to the perpetrators of the incident.
