Teen triple homicide in Tijuana

17 year old Christopher Alexis Gomez, 17 year old Angel Said Robles  and 18 year old Juan Suarez-Ojeda were found in their underwear, tortured, and had been shot in the head in Tijuana on Sunday, Nov. 25.

“[The San Diegans] did not live there, but they came to visit family members, one of them apparently did so frequently,” head of the Baja California Attorney General’s Office Jorge Alvarez said.

While Gomez and Ojeda had no criminal record in Tijuana, Robles had previously been charged with car theft. Robles’s family claims this to be a lie.

Robles was attending Jose Vasconcelos High School, working as a barista, and hoping to become an industrial engineer at the time of his death. Gomez was playing football for his senior year at O’Farrell Charter High School. Suarez-Ojeda had just graduated from Ingenuity Charter School.

Mexican authorities are currently partnering with U.S. police officers on this investigation, yet the motive behind this triple homicide is still unknown.
